@Laranga: By "anime eyes" do you mean the different types of eyes. Just go to the dress up page then look for the different eye type there so you can change it. You should have asked that on the info booth though..

That is an intersting question which I have several theories about XD
Let's start with why people keep coming to other sites like this:
1 - their friends are on there
2 - there is something worthwhile to do
3 - greed
4 - addiction
1 - for this you need to be able to meet people first, and this works best when there are people around already, the non-standard forum might make it harder to chat across time zones
2 - for me this is easy, but I can imagine an average user to be at a loss after completing all events/having made their profile/having become an artist/doodling on the oekaki (which are none of them social activities by the way)
3 - On our site people can't gain virtual property, there is no economy, which would be a relief to some, but it also removes the need to participate in the community to work towards a goal (questing for items, art bought with gold)
4 - Sounds bad but is what makes people check back. After 1, 2 and 3 they'll look for site updates, which we don't have too often, or new items, which aren't announced that elaborately.
Suggestions? XD

I might not be online all the time, but when I am I won't mind hanging out here. I think the site is cute, the people seem really nice, and I actually kind of like that there aren't a billion users, it seems like all of the sites with billions of users are full of nasty people that I wouldn't want to talk to in the first place.
If you guys want someone who's willing to visit whenever possible and talk a lot and try to be fun to be around, I'm more than willing to help out by being here.

YAAAY :3 lol. One reason i love this site is because its like one of those neighborhoods where everybody knows each other *w* but with sites like gaia, its just wayyyy to full of people @_@ and trolls >_>

Alerano's right, I feel the same way. Sites with that many users are less like communities and more like gargantuan mosh pits... It makes it harder for me to enjoy conversation, and I get too many elbows in the face.
And thank you, Karin, I'll do my best to be a good member here. And if I can get my act together with my art skills, maybe I can do more than just talk. I hope, so, anyway.

Hi everyone,
I have been talking to someone for over a year now, we met on SL, we talk almost every night for hours and I am so in love and happier than ever.
We have never met up but he only lives about an hour away from me. I am scared to come clean because I haven't been honest about what I look like and I think I might lose him if I do.
I saw they are now making Catfish in the UK for MTV and I am thinking about applying and I think it is the right thing to do. Is anyone else in this situation that might be able to share some words of wisdom and courage?
