Hard to comment since theres so many of them..
I like the idea of color changes, maybe you could have an option to change colors, only have aout 3 simple options like, pink blue green, or any other random colors. I LOVE the bar idea by Alina! I think it is very cute and makes it look a lot more attractive. I think the most recurring problem with these (Not all of them), is that there kinda crowed, i do accept that there's a lot too fit on the front page, so making it not crowded is.. Hard. |

I think I might have done something confusing because I applied a new layout to a wiki which CONTAINS layout design, but I was mainly asking about the one with the gradient header and side bar with all the wiki/forum links, applied to this page.

I love the header that you've designed here.
The wikis on the side would be cool, but right now it's very rough. :P Maybe even having the forums on the side for the community pages would be awesome! |

Actually I wanted to remove the community tab entirely and change it to "forum" and "wiki". What the side bar shows exactly depends on the kind of page.
The transition between the header and side bar was a bit ugly so I tried to fix it with a patch of black. All trying to reach a more professional look. |

Have you though about changing the site style or color theme? (Not that it needs it, I'm just offering my knowledge/help.)
Also, I'd like to recommend that you give users the option of darkmode. I have noticed that it is very popular, mostly because it is better on one's eyes. |

I've heard of dark mode, too, wouldn't be hard to add. Does that mean that all the custom event themes and profiles should also go in dark mode?
Style and color theme are not really my strength. If you create a new style somewhere on a wiki and tell me it's meant for the site, we could (partly) adopt it, easier that those screenshots up there. |

I think changing the layout should be an important part of overall site updating. We look too sterile for an art/social site imo. Deciding on a color scheme is the challenge though lol
I think maybe we could set up an option for people to apply a layout of their choosing, like how profiles have those default options but for the whole site. I actually can't stand dark mode because of how my eyes work(poorly lol) so having that be a customization option would be great |

Yes, darkmode shouldn't be hard to add. For events we could add an event option to dark or lightmode; maybe a default option auto updates with events.
Depending on how changed the site gets the events will need varying amounts of updates, I wouldn't mind helping test and fill that in. |

Discussing the site as an app won't happen any time soon I don't think, we have too much to work on to get the site up to date first.
I'd really only care about darkmode for the default, holiday layouts aren't applied for more than two weeks at a time and we can allow people to set the layout back to default if they're not fond of the holiday layout. I just don't love the idea of having to make two layouts for every themed event we make. |

I'm always for the least amount of work with the highest payoff, so a dark mode would cancel out all custom layouts.
If making the site into an app means having to recode the whole site from scratch in another programming language that would take years, not gonna happen. But if there is an easy way to port the existing site to an app we could consider it. Even then I wonder if submitting your app to app stores is free, do you know? I wouldn't like having to support and maintain multiple platforms and testing on numerous devices I don't own. |

That's why I'd like to get the site up and running in a way we feel good about before entertaining the idea of an app. no point in making an app when we don't fully know what we want the site to be/have
