August 10, 2010 13:50 (14 years ago)
Thanks! <3
And awesome~ :D
Getting old, eh, Tully? ¬w¬
August 10, 2010 14:55 (14 years ago)
Happy early Birthday Sakura, and Happy early early Birthday Tully.
Geez, you make me feel old... ._.
*wonders if she's the only 20 year old*
August 10, 2010 17:56 (14 years ago)
There are those of us who are 25. When I was 16 I thought 25 was soooo old XD
August 11, 2010 2:24 (14 years ago)
Haha! Okay. *feels better*
August 11, 2010 3:21 (14 years ago)
:P You're not 'old' until you're in your 60s.
August 11, 2010 14:17 (14 years ago)
Hahaha! Good point!
August 11, 2010 17:35 (14 years ago)
Oh no that means my parents will soon be old!
August 12, 2010 4:00 (14 years ago)
Is that a bad thing Karin?
August 12, 2010 12:50 (14 years ago)
@Rose Mouse: Thank you~ :D <3
And nobody's old here, we're all eternally young~ ;D
August 12, 2010 13:04 (14 years ago)
:P I sure hope not...
August 12, 2010 15:45 (14 years ago)
I honestly, never thought that 25 was old, not when I was 16 anyway.
As soon as my parents became Grandparents, that when I decided they were old, even though they really aren't, but now I can call my dad 'gramps' and get way with it XD
August 12, 2010 17:32 (14 years ago)
Haha, that's funny Azkhadellia!
I don't think of my parents as old, but once they're grandparents then I will.
August 12, 2010 20:20 (14 years ago)
My mum is going to be a grandparent, and she's only in her 40s...
August 12, 2010 20:38 (14 years ago)
I sure hope that's not because of you, Tully.
Now I know 25 isn't old, at least you look young (though some guys go bald already). Still waiting to grow up, too. Maybe it happens when you have kids yourself?
August 12, 2010 21:44 (14 years ago)
For a lot of people they "grow up" when they have they're own children.
I can't wait to have my own! In 2-3 months I should be able to start trying with my hubby!
My first child will make my parents grandparents, hehe!
August 13, 2010 3:37 (14 years ago)
:P No, I'm not having any kids until my 20s, I hope.
That's nice Rose, what sex of the child do you want?
August 13, 2010 4:41 (14 years ago)
My boyfriend doesn't want to have kids until he knows that he will be able to fully support himself, which is a good thing. I'm on the fence about it still. All depends on the person I guess.
August 13, 2010 8:56 (14 years ago)
I'll probably do the same as your BF, Az. Don't want a child to have a bad life.
August 13, 2010 12:19 (14 years ago)
Oh yeah, I still wanted to say...
HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH MUHAHAHA
August 13, 2010 15:21 (14 years ago)
It's a good and respectable way to think and I'm glad that he even said it like that to me. Makes me love him even more :3
LOL.
Friday the 13th.... God I have to work today... I pray it won't suck...
August 13, 2010 18:57 (14 years ago)
Bad luck is all a frame of mind; just be positive and nothing bad will happen!
August 14, 2010 0:24 (14 years ago)
I want to have children when I am 27 and married. Dunno why 27, I just like that number. Though I don't want to have just one, my childhood is bad enough being an only child, I want to prevent that for my future kids. Though that will be years and years away.
My teacher doesn't believe in Friday the 13th being unlucky, it's just a day of which someone made a really freaky movie. :P No day is any more unlucky than the next. Though, those are her words, not mine, haha. I don't like Friday the 13th, mostly just because I saw most of the movie - the Uncut version. Gah, just hours of gory deaths repeated with different freakish 50s camp counselors. O_o*
August 14, 2010 3:21 (14 years ago)
I thought it was when a murderer massacred a whole bunch of people...?
August 14, 2010 15:54 (14 years ago)
Eh, the one I watched was about Jason and his crazy physcho mom murdered a bunch of 50's camp counselors with knives and stuff. Needless to say, my head was under a pillow about 10 minutes into the movie.
August 14, 2010 16:46 (14 years ago)
I'm sure the superstition has been around longer than some movie.
August 14, 2010 16:57 (14 years ago)
Oh, I'm sure it has, that's just where mine comes from.. the original movie was from the 80's, the superstition is probably much older than that. Though I didn't know there were 6 or 8 different Friday the 13ths. I'm gonna go look up what it's supposed to be unlucky for. :P
August 14, 2010 17:42 (14 years ago)
Found a lot of different things.. even a name for a phobia of friday the 13th. xD

____ reported it might have begun on Wall Street in New York City when a stockbroker wrote a popular book in 1907 titled Friday the Thirteenth, about a businessman trying to crash the stock market. Wall Street went on to have a few bad Friday the 13ths in 1925 and 1987.
-- Haha xD
-
Myths about the day include not cutting your hair or someone close to you will die; if a funeral procession passes you on that day you will die next and if a child is born on a Friday the 13th he or she will be stricken as unlucky for a lifetime.

some link the superstition of the number 13 to Jesus and the apostles at Last Supper.

Lots of reasons people find it unlucky it seems. ;p
August 14, 2010 22:00 (14 years ago)
:P Wow, I find it's a load of bull, you make your own luck to me. They use to lynch people who were different decades ago, and now we find out they're just, usually genetic mutations. This shouldn't be any different.
August 19, 2010 8:30 (14 years ago)
