*slams desk* I demand shading tutorials. D: *drops dead*
Could we possibly have another option for the emotes?
I mean... like using the "TT" and the "sweatdrop" at the same time. ='x
And um~
The "X" face~ ='x
February 5, 2010 23:32 ()
Ah, good try! Couldn't have done it any better. But how does it look when you wear eyebrows and how is it different from the expression I'm wearing now?
It would be really hard to enable multiple emotes like that because they're on the same layer o.O
Aren't there plenty of shading tutorials out there already? XP
February 6, 2010 12:13 ()
='x I didn't think about the eyebrows since I've never seen it with eyebrows. ='/. It's kinda different to me, but then that's just my thought.
And I know there are lots of shading tutorials out there, but even with them... x___X" But that's just because of me, I guess.

i want an "edit" option >.<''
that would be helpful to not makeing too much post one near the other for a wrong word or for had missing something >w<
*jiuly is desperate 'cause she always miss or misspelled something* lol
:3 i give my rate to blue and purple hairs colours :3
*jiuly thoughts that would be nice have the double overthetop/back option.. so we cold wear tails and wings or capes and jackets/ribons and so on.. :3 with the second item choosed go over the first one.. but maybe is too troublesome ^^''
about the effects..i agree with edea.. but.. maybe.. if we separate "face expressions" (as TT blush fear) from "moods expressions" (as sweatdrop anger <3 etc.etc.) ?
March 3, 2010 10:17 ()
I want to show the newest user who made a profile on the log-in/register page. Maybe there can also be ongoing contests for prettiest avatar/profile, and those people can also be displayed there. The front page needs to be prettified.
March 3, 2010 10:20 ()
Oh, the artist(s) of the newest accepted item(s), too, of course!
March 11, 2010 19:47 (15 years ago)
i wander.. there is the possibility to add only the new-pose of old items without send them useing the complete form again?
March 11, 2010 20:25 (15 years ago)
Hmm, I don't know, but at least you can upload new poses to one already on the submission list without having to send everything again. At least last time I checked.
March 11, 2010 21:38 (15 years ago)
thanks.. it would be really useful! >w<
and.. could ask if the submission page would accept at least 6items instead of 5?
(usually items are in coulpe of 3,so we could have the chance to send 2different items each one with 3 variations ^^ )
March 11, 2010 22:16 (15 years ago)
Yeah, the limit should probably be moved up for artists who have already had a lot of items accepted.
March 13, 2010 23:02 (15 years ago)
I came, saw, and added all the stuff I was talking about to the front page.
I think the layout should maybe be moved around a little though. As always, I'm open for suggestions.
March 16, 2010 19:24 (15 years ago)
I want to add an oekaki board. Preferably one that enables you to make items for the dolls. My favorite oekaki program is unable to I'm afraid. Might add it anyway.
March 17, 2010 0:09 (15 years ago)
I love Oekaki boards. They are so much fun.
March 17, 2010 15:51 (15 years ago)
Yes, normally I wouldn't use stuff made by others for this site, but in this case I'll make an exception. I'm going to customize Shi Painter until you can use it to draw items and submit them directly. And I want a normal drawing mode too... It will be a lot of work.
March 18, 2010 4:16 (15 years ago)
I think that it would be cool to make them on the oekaki board and them be able to upload it here, but will that program have layers? It's been awhile since I last went to an oekaki board, but I do know that some have a layer option and it's nice to have.
March 18, 2010 19:48 (15 years ago)
It has layers. It even supports tablet pressure sensitivity.
March 19, 2010 9:33 (15 years ago)
Woah. Now that is cool.
March 21, 2010 18:44 (15 years ago)
Hmm, I got it to save pictures. But I hope it won't be too much for the small amount of server space we have. Pixel art doesn't take much space but other pictures might. I guess it will take active moderating.
Anyway, still needs a lot of work.
April 6, 2010 20:56 (15 years ago)
What would oekaki artists like best you'd think? Thumbnails of their oekakis displayed on their profiles or a link to the board only showing their oekakis?
April 9, 2010 15:27 (15 years ago)
Optional "over" layer for shoes like boots?
April 9, 2010 19:33 (15 years ago)
Over what/which other layers?
If it enables people to make glitchy looking dolls I don't want it.
April 9, 2010 20:26 (15 years ago)
Like how pants can be tucked into boots?
April 12, 2010 7:03 (15 years ago)
Same with gloves. :O
May 12, 2010 12:22 (14 years ago)
I have some ideas, Karin. Add "Friend Request" app. We should have a blog too. We can submit some poems, arts, comics, articles, editorial question and stuff like that.. Thank you ^^
Kimi
May 14, 2010 20:01 (14 years ago)
What exactly makes friend requests so great? Can't you just keep a list on your profile? And can't you just use your profile for keeping a blog also?
June 1, 2010 10:51 (14 years ago)
One thing I would like would be to know whether or not an item was an event item. It took me forever to figure out that the moon was from the Halloween event... ^^;; And maybe make a place where it's easier to get the said items?
June 3, 2010 21:05 (14 years ago)
Once you've solved an event the items become available in the artists' boots, and some items appear in the main dress-up or Lost & Found. If you follow the equipped list links to an artist booth and the item isn't in there, you can deduce it's in an event. Would it help if it says which event it is in?
June 23, 2010 19:23 (14 years ago)
Masquerade murser event!
>:D
Best idea Ever!
June 24, 2010 16:40 (14 years ago)
I should have posted here yesterday..
Would it be possible for a pink recolor of Jiuly's sundress?
Rosamond told me there's usually only 3 colors allowed, if that's a strict rule than disregard this.
June 24, 2010 18:23 (14 years ago)
I guess it would be alright. Have you asked Jiuly on her profile? She's not around that often, so you might have to wait a while.
Why don't you try making some items of your own? If they're good we can give you upload rights. ^^
June 25, 2010 18:06 (14 years ago)
Okay, will do. I was thinking of making some things today, I have some spare time.
June 26, 2010 3:17 (14 years ago)
Hm, I seem to double post a lot... please don't scold me!
I just thought of something that might be helpful for the site.
Saving outfits.
I was thinking: since you have to change the items your wearing to do the events, once you're finished you're most likely going to switch back to your previous outfit.
So instead of having to go back to each artist's page and find the items you were wearing, maybe there could be way to save those items as "Favorite Outfits". They could be in one easy drop-down list on the Dress-up page, or even on your own profile.
I don't know anything about coding, so I don't know the difficulty of this task.
July 4, 2010 5:58 (14 years ago)
I think CPDD could use some more skin tones.
Something like these:
I just thought CPDD should cater to all races.
And no one's said anything about my last idea.. not good?
July 4, 2010 15:49 (14 years ago)
Oh, I thought about the outfit thing, but I wasn't sure about how it should work. But it's a good idea in general, just need to wait for some inspiration.
And it's a lot of work to add a skin tone right now, but I'm working on something that should make it easier.
I don't mind double posting at all as long as it's not for something stupid like correcting a typo.
July 4, 2010 19:54 (14 years ago)
Alright. that all sounds great!
July 20, 2010 19:33 (14 years ago)
Yeah and maybe a slightly lighter tan because my tan is kinda of pale olive.
July 23, 2010 7:27 (14 years ago)
It's nice if we add some little dark skins. I also agree with Aye. It's nice if we do, Aye.
August 28, 2010 20:07 (14 years ago)
I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what graphical information should go where on the dress-up page. There are a couple of lists, there is
"birthday boys and girls",
"latest accepted item submission",
"new user spotlight",
"artists who contributed to your outfit" (after login) and
"currently online".
Should all of that stuff be visible before login? And how about after? Or should I move some of that stuff to another page?
I think they all fit nicely on the front page.
I think "latest accepted item submission", and "new user spotlight" should be visible before and after log in. Then birthdays, "artists who contributed to your outfit", and "currently online" should all be visible after log in.
Or is that how it is now? If that's the case, I like it the way it is! Haha.
And Kimi, what's that screen shot showing?
August 29, 2010 21:00 (14 years ago)
Actually birthdays and currently online are already shown before login... I guess how it is since yesterday is acceptable.
August 30, 2010 1:33 (14 years ago)
It looks nice and clean! Great job Karin!
August 31, 2010 20:50 (14 years ago)
Whoah, there seems to be some weird page stretching glitch going on here in IE7. And in IE8 the right column on the front page just keeps jumping around like crazy. I'm starting to dislike anything that has to do with layout, so... screw this, I'm not bothering with it anymore.
August 31, 2010 21:06 (14 years ago)
Firefox is better?
August 31, 2010 21:10 (14 years ago)
Oh I thought of something. I don't know how complicated it would be, but it'd be cool if we could choose to have our profile CSS on the whole site (but only visible to each person, of course).
August 31, 2010 21:13 (14 years ago)
Certainly better to those making websites.
Hm, I still need to make the speech bubble thing recolorable.
September 3, 2010 17:57 (14 years ago)
Possible, but then you wouldn't be able to see event themes and such. I believe certain browsers have an "alternative stylesheet" option. No idea how that works, though.
Do any of the wiki owners any idea how they could be improved? Besides an option to add a style sheet? If I'm going to make changes I'd rather make them all at once.
September 3, 2010 20:09 (14 years ago)
I see, but you could always leave out the event pages.
Hm, have you thought about putting polls into the wikis? It could be a block on it's own, just about the comments.
September 3, 2010 23:27 (14 years ago)
Polls are stupid. They are only an excuse not to get people to talk to each other and actually discuss things like normal people.
September 3, 2010 23:42 (14 years ago)
I never thought of that Az. Very good point.
September 4, 2010 0:07 (14 years ago)
Some years ago I was on a site that had 2 big features: wiki's and polls. It led to billions of random polls and hundreds of random art contests nobody would enter...
I'm not saying we will never have them, but I think they would be a lot of work and like Az said, we don't really need them.
*slams desk* I demand shading tutorials. D: *drops dead*Could we possibly have another option for the emotes?
