@chup I love how much effort your putting into your work, it's kinda inspiring in a weird way. Ur, the prom dress belt outline is now darker than the actual outline. And on the skirt I like the details especially what you did around the waist.
The reason the skirts don't look right is because they're kind of rigid like a strange triangle. You should try to make it more natural so it's more like hanging.
If you find that skirts are getting tricky try moving onto another thing, like hats or hair accessories? Then come back to them later.

@chup okay the skirts shape looks better but I think you should change the shading a little, cause you can't really see it over all the glitter.
The hair bands design is a cute idea, but the strap looks straight instead of curved over the head and the hearts shape needs work.
The background scares me. The main thing you should work on is the shading, it should curve with the face not go straight down, it makes the faces look flat.
The dress is a lovely design, but the shapes a triangle again and the outlines too dark. Also with the skirt on the dress, remember the light comes from the top left not right above the head.

Your dress is looking better! I would suggest using a color that is less neon but, I suppose you wouldn't need to in this instance because its supposed to be ice-like. For the "Crazy Hair" the bottom part of the hair is uneven and looks odd. Same with the "Crazie Blonde". The bangs for both of them look odd as well. Try to make them longer and less clumped together. Also with the "Crazie Blonde", the top part looks darker than the bottom so I'm not sure if you're going for a ombre or ? Please fix them and show us <3!

Oh chup chup you remind me so much of when I first tried to become an artist XD I never stopped posting items until they looked right, and I made it so I know one day you will too! :D Keep working as hard as you are now <3.
If it helps, try looking at other examples of hair, notice how they aren't as stringy as real hair, they indicate clumps. But with these clumps a few strands are also indicated so it doesn't look like texture-less. Try looking at other peoples' hair and, don't copy it, just look at how they make hair look like hair, there's lots of examples and eventually you will learn and develop your own style with it ^_^.

CC : Thanks!!! I'm still practicing on the dress and especially on the hair which I'm having difficulties on. But I promise on my next submissions I will make the items I will submit even better than the one I did before :D

Well, for starters lets go with basic shading, the lighting is coming from the left, so there will be a lot of shading on the right of the hair. {Example}

Well, you can't see the shading very well, try and make it a lot darker than the base colour, if it helps you could use a palette, {link}. Palettes are always an easy option for beginners because you get the right shades.

Not bad, you can really see the shadows now. But the outline needs to be darker, mostly around your new shadows.

Cool, the top still needs a bit more outline, but mostly i would recommend for starters changing the colours so there are only 2,light and shadow, when doing pixel art you only want a minimal amount of colours. :3

not quite, just simplify it. Take 2 colours (leaving the outline out) and fill in all the other colours using the 2 you picked, you only want 2 colours to begin with, the base color and basic shading. Just look at the example i left you, theres only 2 colours besides the outline.

Definitely the one on the right, i like how you can see the contrast clearly between the colours :3. That's the first step done, next it would be a good idea to add a few lines going through the hair, to indicate clumps of strands. After all, we don't want hair to look like a textureless blob on top of our heads ;D. Great work so far!

(or if you'd prefer to skip that step)You can go further into highlights and shadows by adding a 3rd colour of shading to the right or maybe a colour of highlight going around the ring of her head.

Oh gosh lama that is awesome XD I honestly cant think of anything to say that you could fix.
@chup chup you're getting better! Just don't forget to keep the outline dark and have a definite shade on the right, you've done it on the top part but you've left it out on the bottom. (also I'd recommend making the darkest shade a little bit darker) Great work!
