you need to shade dark on the right side of the body, your outlines need to go darker and you need to make the bottom of the shirt not straight because the bodies aren't flat, it should curve down slightly

Yay it worked! (sorry for the double post) Okay this is what I have done for the hair I've been working on
Thats so cute! I do really like the pigtail portion but the top part of it (Bangs) is a little disproportionate. If you were do make the right side of the hair match the left it would probably look a lot better. More/Darker shading as well please <3! Good luck!

your shading is definitely getting better! your shading on the sleeves needs to get darker but the shading on the vest is pretty great :D

Nice one KagomeNe. I just feel something too straight in that hair. maybe curving a little that strand of hair at bangs to match the wavyness of the ponytail.

your hair looks like it's shaded backwards XD you need to make sure it's shaded so that the light is hitting the left side making shadow be on the right side of the hair
Also it looks a little off with no line at the hair line

at this point in time it's pointless to make all the sleeves until you're an official artist, if you WANT to for the sake of practice or something feel free but right now it's unnecisary

If you are doing a two tone hair color, wouldn't it look better if you tried to blend the two colors where they meet?
Otherwise it looks really harsh.

No no for backgrounds the line art requirement is less strict, but either way it would look fine to me. The white dress laces though... The proper line art color for white items is dark grey not light grey.
I suggest looking up some references for dress shading, your dresses are shaded totally smoothly and it makes them look flat and plasticy X3 you want to shade most items like your top, with depth and flow :3

Even if something has dark shading, if we can't tell it's there, it's no good. Like on the third one, I can't see any shading other than on the white fluffy bits. You either need to make your shading colors darker or your base color lighter.
I think you could have left the lines alone, I see you changed them and properly shading would have taken care of the issue. I say this because to me, now they look like pants they way you put the lines in.
