Focus on your skills then it's only a mater of getting used to using a tablet. But I wish you all the best; I hope my words have given you some hope. I'd hate to see a promising young artist quit! Most important: HAVE FUN!

I'm not familiar with sketchfu, but do they have a layer function when you draw? If so you should drawing on the top layer and color underneath it. That will really improve your drawings.
