@samsam The heart looks ok but skirt looks stiff.
@denan looks ok but pleats too stiff and the belt or sash look too straight

Everyone I suggest working on your shading, a lot of it is too light or too little, make sure to keep your outlines dark and work on shaping A lot of the skirts and dresses I'm seeing look very stiff

Indeed, having perfectly straight lines usually means you didn't do a very good job bringing depth into your drawing.

A mustach person! this is my first try on facial things but i made 2 other dresses that r pretty good for only 3 tries. 3 of them all together.

The mustache is cool, shame it wouldn't be accepted because it blocks some of the facial expressions.
On your dresses you need darker outlines, and you need to curve the belt cause it looks flat atm.
For starter pixel artists i always say, copy one of the dresses on here onto paint (Oh the style you like the most) and then zoom in on it, look how its done, you can copy techniques as long as you don't re use the actual dress.

@ live love laugh some of those colors hurt my eyes XD try to keep the same color but make it more settle :P Also try to make the bottom of the dress more rounded :3

I would suggest also, you think about your shading, the light on chibi piece come from the left/top left.
This would mean there would be more shadow on the right, the belt would create a small shadow, and so would to stomach and non exsistant chibi chest.
Also if you look at pictures of most dresses, they don't go straight down, they flow down, with creases wheres its bumpy.
Try using a reference? Just copy it down into pixel art style. I'd pick something simple if i was you.

@omniamis I suggest dark outlines and the dark ones make their base lighter to make the outline look dark. Finally, not bad

@omniamis that's pretty good! I like the light blue pants but the other two are really dark and you can't see the outlines (on my old computer they look like black blobs X3). The shirts are nice too but, the shading needs to curve at the bottom of the shirt and not curve in. (if that makes any sense XD)The skirts are adorable! I would love to wear those! The outlines need to be darker. Great Job!

Updates! My shirts are ok, but I really like the pants. Added saturation to make the shading pop. And my skirts look a lot better too. They look shiny to me :) lol

These are for the Xmas Event! I put them all in one image just to get feedback on the shading.
So what do you think? Darker outline? Different palette? Less fuzzy white part? Seems like my things look so much better in my program than when they're posted :P

@Tiffany_May It does look pretty nice, i suggest making the shades of black int eh skirt lighter, right now theyre all too dark and you cant see the nice layers you made very well, other than that id love to see more work like this ^^
On the larger dresses you submitted a while ago, i suggest learning to shade folds of dresses, large dresses dont look right with smooth flat shading because it makes them look flat and lifeless and fake XD that and they needed darker outlines but i thin youve worked on that already, always make your outines darker by making them more black, not bright (a common mistake)

@samsamsierra I suggest working on a larger piece, gloves are too small for us to see how good you are as an artist, just keep practicing lots of different kinds of things!

Cool! I really like SeeU shading. Lots of definition. You should add darker shading to the side of Plant Manager Module like on Innocent Module. They all look really accurate , I'd wear them! And Miku hair is already on the site so I'd have the whole look ^^ lol

@tiffany_may, those are really nice! Only the bottom one needs a little line art between the whites on the sleeves, the white and orange and between the torso and the sleeve, so it looks better defined.

@Kyoyoku does the sleeves have to be too long? Could you post reference pic 'cause its hard to tell if it is supposed be like that if the ref pic is not there.
