Here is a little guide to start you off:
Starter's Guide
Once you have made your character, make sure to register it. After you lock your character, only you will be able to use it and you will get access to more site features like posting, making your own profile and interactive items.
Before posting, make sure you read the rules for posting which are located here.
You can wear items that users have made by going to the changing booths which are located on artists' profiles. The list of pixel artists can be found here.
If you want to submit your own items, read the instructions in the User Submissions thread carefully.
Items are also available from event puzzles located in the Archives. Completing the events grants you access to those items. All past events can still be accessed for your amusement.
